OL Dalton Freeman Profile

Can you talk about your official visit and what you did during your time on campus?
Freeman: It was a great visit. Anytime I go to Clemson it is good experience. Got there about four o'clock on Friday. I met with Coach Bowden around 4:45 in his office. Then we went to dinner in Westzone that night and I spent some time with Mason Cloy that night. He is a great guy. We have a lot in common. I can't wait to play with guys like him.

Who came with you on your trip?
Freeman: Me, my mom and dad.

What were some of the highlights of your visit?
Freeman: Probably Saturday - we got up and ate breakfast. Then we took the tours. Right before lunch we got to go to the hill. They told us about the tradition. We got to touch the rock and walk down the hill. Picture yourself running down in front of 85,000 fans. It helped being able to talk to the other guys and do some recruiting.

How would you rate the visit on a scale of one to 10?
Freeman: Probably an 11. It was a great visit.

How did your conversations go with the coaching staff?
Freeman: Everything went really well. It was all good.

Did you hear about any verbal commitments this weekend?
Freeman: I think some are getting close. Hopefully we can get some of them. If we do we will end up with top 10 class. We are getting the talent. We will be a strong program.

Freeman, who committed to the Tigers on Christmas day, is currently ranked as the No. 9 offensive guard in the nation by Scout.com. He is also a four-star prospect.
