4-Star RB Ready for Clemson Visit

Four-star running back Andre Ellington will be one of a handful of prospects making their official visits to Clemson this weekend.

RB Andre Ellington Profile

4-star running back Andre Ellington traveled to Orlando, Fla. two weeks ago for the Under-Armour All American game.

"It was a big experience," he told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I got to meet with some of the players I will be playing with the next four or five years. We all hung out and got to be good friends."

The week of practice leading up to the game allowed Ellington to play with his future quarterback Kyle Parker.

"It was fun to play with him last week. He is a great quarterback. He is going to be a great quarterback at Clemson," said Ellington.

Clemson fans may have seen a glimpse of their future backfield as Ellington and Harper shared running back duties for the silver team.

"I didn't know much about him before going down to Florida. I feel like we built a good friendship together. I told him he needs to come to Clemson," said Ellington.

The adjustments to the silver team offense were easy for the prize recruit.

"I felt real good. I knew we had a good offensive line. They were all pretty talented and had good size. The plays where I got the ball were similar to the plays we run at our school," said Ellington.

Ellington is also set to take his only official visit of the recruiting process this weekend when he visits Clemson.

"I am look forward to hanging out with some players. I want to get to see some of the things I haven't yet," replied Ellington. "You know I think we have a pretty good team next year so I'm looking forward to getting up to Clemson."
