QB/S Devonte Holloman Profile

I am playing basketball right now. We are doing pretty well. We lost a few games to some good teams in the final seconds. We finally got a conference win. We are getting better each game.

I play small forward and some power forward. I am probably averaging about 10 points a game. I don't really keep track of points. That is not how I measure how I play. I measure it by how our team does.

With recruiting, the mail is coming a lot every day now. I am hearing from Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Auburn, Illinois, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Clemson and Georgia. Most of the schools have already offered. I have offers from most of the SEC and the ACC as well as Notre Dame and Stanford.

Everyone wants me to come up to a basketball game. Me and my dad have always dreamed about going to the Carolina-Duke game. Some of the coaches at Carolina have are talking about getting us up for that game.

There are a couple of junior days coming up soon. I plan to go see some of them.

Most schools are recruiting me as an athlete. I will most likely end up playing safety.

We are motivated to get back to winning state championships. We are already lifting and doing little things to bring us closer together. We will be ready to roll into next season in championship form. We are all trying to get stronger and faster.

It was difficult dealing with the suspensions in the playoffs. It only affected the people in the wrong. Some people were distracted. Mostly it was the players in the wrong. They knew they didn't live in our district. It did hurt us losing two players so late.

I will get to play some more offense next year, but I am not sure if it will be at quarterback again. I will play wherever my coach needs me to play. I will play receiver, quarterback or wherever they need me.

School is going good right now. We are wrapping up our first semester. We take exams this week. I will get rid of my hard classes this semester. This semester I had Physics, English and History.

I plan to have my top five before the season starts. I will take my official visits next fall.
