Here is what he said:
"I'm just glad I got a lot of this stuff over with. I woke up at 3 o'clock this morning and it was on my mind. I was worrying that I was going to regret what I was doing. I knew I had until today to make my final decision.
"So I called my mom at 3 o'clock this morning to talk to her. I just thought with all of the opportunities that I've got in front of me, with getting my degree, coming back and going for the BCS that it would help my future.
"This is definitely what I wanted. We will be a top team next year with me back at Clemson and that's good for everybody."
