ATH Devonte Holloman Profile

I went to North Carolina on Saturday. Coach Brand took me and a couple of my teammates. We went to the basketball game. It was crazy. There were a lot of people there. I got to meet Roy Williams. I had my mouth wide open on that one.

I also got to meet coach Davis and coach Blake. They are real cool guys. I got to meet with some players and they showed us around. It was nice to see the school I grew up loving up close and personal.

That won't really give North Carolina an advantage. I still will have to do what is best for me. I will see where I fit in the best. At some point you have to do what is best for me. If they are the best for me then I will go there, but they have no upper hand.

On Sunday I watched football with my family. My grandparents came over for the games. I pulled for San Diego and Green Bay.

Coach Bridge from State came by last week during exams. I got his number and will be calling to check in with him.

My friend Makiri Pugh who is going to Georgia told me they are coming in this week. I expect them to bring a written offer. They already have given me a verbal offer.

I won't base my decision off what Makiri did. I will base my decision off what is best for me. I will look at the scheme and look for a place where I can play and make it to the next level.

I got some mail this week from Florida and Ohio State.

Coach Napier hasn't come by yet. I haven't called him. I know most of the coaches are trying to finish up this years class.

I am going to North Carolina in February for their junior day. I will be going to North Carolina State for their junior day in March.

This week I am going to start working out at VTO. I saw a guy today from the VTO at a senior combine they had. I went to support some of my teammates. He told me if I need a place to workout they will help me out. I need to get my parents to talk with him.

I have basketball practice on Tuesday. My dad hopes I can play both sports in college. State has said I could probably walk-on for basketball, so did Carolina. My dad really wants me to play both.

We should be starting AAU basketball soon. We will play on Sundays. I have been talking with Stephon Gilmore about playing on the same team with me. He hasn't decided yet.
