One of Clemson's highest rated verbal commitments just wrapped up his offiical visit to Tigertown.

Andre, can you talk about your official visit and what you did during your time on campus?
Ellington: It went good. I really enjoyed being there. My host was Jacoby Ford. He showed me around a lot. We hung around with Brandon Clear and Marquan Jones.

Who came with you on your trip?
Ellington: My mom, uncle and little cousin. The coaches talked some with my cousin. He is a sophomore wideout.

What were some of the highlights of your trip?
Ellington: The highlight was just hanging with the players. Also talking with James Davis.

How would you rate the visit on a scale of one to 10?
Ellington: It was a 10.

How did your conversations go with the coaching staff?
Ellington: Everything went good. I talked to Coach Bowden before I left. He was glad I was coming to Clemson.

Did you hear about any verbal commitments this weekend?
Ellington: No I did not.

How did you get along with the other recruits?
Ellington: There were four of us there this weekend. We got along pretty good. It was me Dwayne Allen, Brandon and Bobby Massie.

Are you still firm in your commitment?
Ellington: Yeah I am pretty firm. I am solid to Clemson.

Ellington is the No. 1 ranked running back in South Carolina for the class of 2008. As a senior he recorded 264 carries for 1,822 yards and 24 touchdowns. He was also named to the Shrine Bowl and the Under Armour All American game for his efforts.

His main recruiter to Clemson is assistant coach David Blackwell.
