B. Ford Discusses Clemson Trip

CUTigers.com checks in with the top wide receiver in South Carolina for the class of 2008 after completing his official visit to Clemson this weekend.

Can you talk about your official visit and what you did during your time on campus?
Ford: It was good. I liked Vickery Hall. I liked the highlight films. We had dinner in the WestZone Saturday and went to Tommy's house for dessert. We got in a little late because I had a basketball game but that was okay.

Who was your host for the weekend?
Ford: Marquan Jones was my main host. He was cool. We got along well.

Who came with you on your trip?
Ford: My mother and cousin came up with me.

What were some of the highlights?
Ford: Getting to meet the players was probably the biggest thing. Also, I thought playing pool at Coach Bowden's house.

How would you rate the visit on a scale of one to 10?
Ford: I would give it a 10. It was very organized. Made me feel at home. Everything went really good.

How did your conversations go with the coaching staff?
Ford: They went real good. We talked with coach Bowden, coach Blackwell and coach Swinney. All of those talks were good.

Did you hear about any verbal commitments this weekend?
Ford: Not that I know of, no.

How did you get along with Andre Ellington?
Ford: We got along great. We are going to be rooming together when we get here in July.

Ford finished his senior campaign with 69 receptions for over 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns. For his efforts, he was named to the Shrine Bowl.
