Upstate WR Misses Clemson Visit

The Clemson Tigers are going back to Byrnes High School to find another star receiver.

WR Ricco Sanders Profile

Ricco Sanders visited Clemson earlier this month and had thought about making the trip for Junior Day last weekend but that didn't happen.

"I didn't get to Clemson this weekend," Sanders told CUTigers.com afterwards. "I didn't get to Georgia either. I will be heading to Georgia on March 2 though. I'm still taking that trip."

The offer list still stands at four, but expect that to change over the next few months.

"I don't have any new offers. It is still Georgia, Clemson and Florida," said Sanders. "Kansas also offered me last week."

When asked about his current leader in the recruiting process, Sanders responded, "Nobody is really leading right now. It is really just even."

A verbal commitment is still a ways off for the Byrnes standout.

"I am still planning to wait a while. I'm not ready to make a commitment."

Which team is recruiting the speedster the hardest at this time?

"Clemson is right now," replied Sanders.
