WR Ricco Sanders Profile
5-11, 175 pound receiver Ricco Sanders had hoped to visit Clemson for the opening day of spring practice, but that trip was cancelled.
"I didn't make it," he said. "Something came up. I had to do some projects for school."
Clemson assistant coach/recruiting coordinator Billy Napier is working hard to get the Byrnes standout to reschedule the visit.
"Coach Napier wants me to visit Clemson sometime. I will probably go up there in the next two weeks. He keeps telling me how I will fit straight into the Clemson program. He tells me how much they would love to have me," said Sanders.
When asked if he is hearing from any new schools, Sanders responded, "No, it is still the same schools. It is Clemson, Georgia, Florida and Florida State. "I am going to Georgia on March 22nd."
Which team is Sanders hearing from the most?
"It would probably be Clemson," said Sanders.
Several former Byrnes teammates would like to see the prize recruit join them in Tigertown.
"They would love for me to go to Clemson, but they are not pushing me hard," said Sanders. "I still plan to wait a while."
Upstate WR will Reschedule
