OLIVER PURNELL: "I'm very proud of the way our team played in this tournament. I'm very disappointed we didn't get the job done. You can kinda look back and we missed some shots we normally make both jump shots and some in the lane. We didn't shoot terribly well from the free throw line. So that made it tough on us against the No. 1 team in the country. But I thought our guys fought hard and really battled throughout the course of the tournament. Really during the course of the year. I fully expect our guys will bounce back and play well and hard when we find out who we are going to play in the NCAA Tournament. After a loss, we've kind of found a way to dig down and play harder and play better and that's a characteristic of this team that should serve us well preparing for the NCAA Tournament. My congratulations goes to North Carolina. They are playing extremely well. They have a lot of weapons. I'm sure they will do well in the NCAA Tournament. My congratulations goes to Roy and his kids."
K.C. RIVERS: "It was definitely frustrating. We got it close. Then all of a sudden they made another stretch run and we kept fighting hard on defense. We just couldn't find that one (possession and basket) that was going to get us going again. You can't really help that. Sometimes it goes your way and sometimes it doesn't."
