March Clemson Visit Planned

One of the top running backs in the Palmetto state will visit Clemson later this month with his former teammate. has the details in this recruiting update.

RB Travis Small Profile

5-11, 185 pound running back Travis Small, out of Cheraw, S.C., will make a visit to Clemson before the end of March.

"I didn't make it to Clemson for Junior Day," he said. "I am going up this month. I am going to go on the 30th with Jaron."

The talented running back is waiting on his first offer, but expect his list to grow quickly over the next few months.

"I don't have any offers yet. I am hearing from a number of schools. Michigan, Auburn, Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Duke, Notre Dame, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Carolina and Kentucky are all in contact," said Small.

When asked if he has any favorites, Small responded, "Not right now. I am waiting to visit a couple of schools. I am waiting to see what Clemson is like. I haven't been up there yet."

The Cheraw standout has visited Columbia a number of times.

"I went to most of their games last year," said Small.

What will be important to the Palmetto standout when he selects his college destination?

"I will be looking at the academic program. I will be looking at the coaching staff. I am looking for a good school where I feel comfortable," replied Small.

"If I go ahead and visit a lot and find the right one it will be early. Right now it looks like it may be a late decision."

Small is being recruited to Clemson by assistant coach Dabo Swinney.

As a junior, he rushed for over 1,800 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns. Top Stories
