LB Jarvis Jones Profile

4-star linebacker Jarvis Jones, one of Georgia's top prospects, plans to take in spring practice in Clemson next week.

"I am going to Clemson sometime," Jones told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I am not sure what day yet. It will probably be one day next week, during the week.

"Right now I am supposed to go to Georgia tomorrow for a visit."

What does the star linebacker hope to see during his visits to Clemson and Georgia?

"I know they both will recruit me hard. I just hope to see

what they have to offer," replied Jones. One of the nation's top programs is turning up the heat for the Carver High standout.

"I am hearing a lot from Southern California now. I got a letter from them yesterday saying they have watched my film and want me out there," said Jones.

When asked about his current favorites, Jones responded, "I have a lot of favorites right now. I really don't know who would be the top schools right now."

Which schools are recruiting the Georgia standout the hardest? "Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Southern Cal and Texas are right now," he said.

Don't expect Jones to narrow the field any time soon. "I will probably wait until after my season. Then I will narrow it down and take some visits," said Jones.

What will be most important when the top linebacker selects his college destination?

"I am looking for somewhere that I will be comfortable. I want to get along well with the coaches. I just want somewhere that I can come in and play," replied Jones.
