NOTES: McDowell, who rushed for almost 1,400 yards and 21 touchdowns last season for Sumter, has been committed to Clemson for the last two months and remains firm in his pledge. Running backs coach Andre Powell is his main recruiter to Clemson. Once signed, Clemson will have inked the state's top ranked running back in each of the last two years.

12 Malliciah Goodman DE West Florence 6-4/242 CU
NOTES: Another Clemson commitment, Goodman recorded almost 70 tackles to go along with 6.5 sacks last season for West Florence. He chose the Tigers over an offer from South Carolina and remains firm in his pledge. Dabo Swinney is Goodman's main recruiter.

13 Brandon Thomas OT Dorman 6-4/280
NOTES: Thomas is now garnering attention from multiple schools but North Carolina and Clemson are his early leaders. Taylor Sowell, Thomas' teammate, verbally committed to UNC back in February. Clemson's Billy Napier is his main recruiter to Tigertown.

14 Chris Payne S Columbia 5-10/190 SC
NOTES: Committed to South Carolina. Payne averaged over seven yards per carry as a running back and totaled 720 yards. He also had 130 tackles on defense. Clemson is no longer pursuing.

15 Josh McKie WR Mauldin 6-1/180 UNC
NOTES: Committed to UNC on Feb. 17 after drawing a scholarship offer from the Heels. He ended his junior season with 700 yards on the ground and 1,300 through the air as a quarterback. Clemson did not offer.

16 David Sims S Calhoun County 5-11/208
NOTES: As a dual-threat quarterback, Sims threw for over 1,400 yards last season and rushed for almost 900. He also intercepted five passes on defense. Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia Tech and N.C. State have already moved in with offers. Sims is being recruited to Clemson by defensive line coach Chris Rumph.

17 Justin Anderson DE Blythewood 6-4/225
NOTES: Still awaiting his first major offer, Anderson recorded 50 tackles, including 16 for loss last season for the Bengals. Clemson, South Carolina and a host of schools are showing interest. Clemson defensive line coach Chris Rumph is recruiting Anderson to Tigertown.

18 Taylor Sowell CB Dorman 6-0/185 UNC
NOTES: Committed to North Carolina on Feb. 15. No offer from Clemson. Ended his junior year with 40 tackles, six intereceptions and seven pass break-ups.

19 Justin Bright S Byrnes 6-1/185
NOTES: Florida State and Texas A&M have moved in with early scholarship offers. Despite missing four games last season, Bright still recorded 114 tackles, including six for a loss and four interceptions.

20 J.J. Suber WR Newberry 6-3/205
NOTES: North Carolina has moved in with an offer for J.J. Suber. He is also hearing from LSU and Tennessee.
