I went down to Clemson today. It was a long day. We left the house about 8:30 this morning. We met Stephon [Gilmore] and his family down there.

We toured everything. We went to Vickery hall and learned about the academics.

Then we went to the coaches offices and met with coach Bowden. He sat down with each of our families. It was nice talking to him and getting to know him.

He wasn't preaching Clemson. He just told us to do what's best for us and he told us what Clemson has to offer.

Then we went and saw where the players live. We saw Marcus Gilchrist's room and Kourtnei Brown's room.

Then we went to the old weight room. We got to meet with the strength coach.

We got to see how the practices work. They showed us how they get their stuff for practice and how they prepare.

After lunch Larry Raper, Stephon and I watched the scrimmage with coach Bowden down on the field. We got to see how he processes things.

We got a feel for what it would be like to play for Clemson. We got a good feel for Clemson.

The defense looked much stronger than the offense. The defense is awesome. The defensive line is awesome.

Bowers and McDaniel really looked good. Those guys are awesome.

Stephon and I got to spend the whole day together. We got a good chance to catchup. We are enjoying the recruiting process.

My parents really liked it because of the coach's emphasis on academics. They keep on top of your school work. They go through a lot to make sure they get you the help that you need. They make it so you can't fail. They also like the proximity to home. They think the coaches at Clemson will really take care of me.

The trip definitely helped Clemson's chances. They showed a lot to me and my family. They put a lot of effort and interest into everything we did today.

My next trip will be on April 19th. I am going up to see Michigan and Notre Dame. I will be going up with my defensive back coach and Taylor Caldwell.
