OL Brandon Thomas Profile

6-4, 285 pound offensive lineman Brandon Thomas, out of Dorman High Schoool, plans to visit Clemson in the next two weeks.

"Yeah I wasn't able to make the spring game," he told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I don't know when I will go right now. I need to call coach Napier and schedule something. It will be sometime this week or next."

Coach Napier has built a good relationship with the Dorman standout.

"He is a cool guy. I can really relate to him because he is young," said Thomas.

One report this week had the Palmetto standout close to a commitment. That is not the case according to the talented lineman.

"That is not correct. I am not ready to make a commitment right now," said Thomas.

When asked about his current favorites, Thomas responded, "Well my options are wide open. Everybody is saying Clemson is on top or North Carolina is on top, but right now I am wide open."

What will be important when he selects his college destination?

"Academics will be the first thing. Then I will look at the location of the school. I want to be where my mom can see me play," replied Thomas.

A commitment could still be several months off according to the powerful lineman. "I was going to make it before the season or a couple of games into the season," he said. "I am not sure right now."

Clemson commitment J.K. Jay has talked with Brandon several times.

"Yeah I know J.K. We have talked a couple of times. He is the only one I have talked with right now," said Thomas.
