Tigers Still in Touch with Massie

The Clemson Tigers and several other teams are working hard to recruit one of the top prep school players for next season.

The recruiting process is starting all over again for former four-star lineman Bobby Massie.

"I am hearing from Georgia, Clemson, North Carolina and Alabama," he told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "They each call a lot. I hear from them about once a week."

Coach Napier and other Clemson coaches keep in touch with the franchise tackle.

"I talked to him about two weeks ago. We talked about what I need to do to get into Clemson. We talked about how I would it into their offensive system. He talked about the players they have coming in and how me and Antoine McClain could be two bookends," said Massie.

The prep school experience will begin in August for the prize recruit.

"I am going to Hargrave on August 14. I talk to the coach every week. He tells me about the system they will run. He tells me every school in the country has called to ask about me," said Massie.

"The good news is I should be able to enroll somewhere in January. I just got my ACT test score back and I got what I needed. Now I just need to get my grades up a little."

When will a decision come?

"I will make my decision this fall after I take all five of my official visits," replied Massie. Massie also said North Carolina is recruiting him the hardest at the present moment.
