CB Ryan Gilliam
5'10, 175, 4.4
Lincoln High School
Ryan Gilliam, an explosive 5-10, 175 pound two way standout from Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln has set all five of his official visits and the first one he'll be taking in early December is the Pacific Northwest.
Gilliam did a little of everything as a junior catching 25 passes for 578 yards and nine touchdowns, rushed 31 times for 511 yards and four touchdowns and recorded 42 tackles with four interceptions at corner. He's also a great return man who could see action on punt and kick returns from day one.
In track, Gilliam clocked a 10.7 in the 100 meters, a 21.7 in the 200m and ran the lead leg on the State Qualifying 4x100 relay team. He's an explosive player who could star on either side of the ball in college.
Gilliam has set all five of his official visits and there was one surprise on his list. The athlete, who will be playing in the CaliFlorida Bowl, had set January visits with Clemson (Jan. 10), Florida (Jan. 17), Georgia (Jan. 24) and Florida State (Jan. 31).
"I'm also going to visit Oregon (Dec. 13), " Gilliam said. "I just set that one. My top five is Florida State, Florida, Oregon, Clemson and Georgia in that order."
On a side note, Gilliam played football with current Tiger freshman cornerback Buddy Williams last season at Lincoln. We will continue to keep you updated on Ryan Gilliam throughout the recruiting process.
