OL/DT Brandon Moore Profile

6-5, 320 pound lineman Brandon Moore plans to see Clemson for himself this summer.

"I am going to visit Clemson this summer," he said. "I probably will just go up there for a visit, not camp. I want to see what it is like at Clemson.

"I am also going to the Southern Miss elite camp on Tuesday. Then I am going to camp at Mississippi State on June 7. And I know I am going to camp at Alabama and Auburn."

Football visits won't be the only the only this on tap this summer for the talented athlete.

"I am also going to play basketball this summer. It is going to be a busy summer," said Moore.

When asked about his current favorites in the recruiting process, Moore responded, "I really don't have any right now. Miami just offered and I feel pretty good about that. I don't have any favorites yet."

Don't expect an early commitment from the top lineman.

"It will be after the season. The football season will be hectic this year. We are going to have a really good team. We should do well."

What will be important when the Alabama standout selects his college destination?

"I want to have a school with a good record of going to bowl games," he said. "I want to go where they have a good recruiting class. I will look at academics. I am not sure what I want to major in yet. Distance will not be a factor. I don't mind going away for school."

The two-way standout could play defensive tackle or offensive line at the next level.

"Clemson wants me to come play offense," Moore said. "Most schools just say to come and play and they will decide where I will play once I get there. I would prefer defense, but I don't really care. I just want to play."

As a junior, Moore registered 60 tackles and seven sacks. Top Stories
