QB Ryan Mossakowski Profile

6-4, 205 pound quarterback Ryan Mossakowski will make his first visit to Clemson when he attends the Tommy Bowden football camp next week.

"I am coming to Clemson on Sunday," he told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I will be at camp on Monday and Tuesday. My dad is coming with me."

The star gunslinger, who currently ranked as the No. 13 quarterback in the nation by Scout.com, is looking forward to the opportunity to work with coach Spence.

"Yeah I am excited about the opportunity to work with coach Spence," he said. "I am looking forward to seeing Clemson."

One more camp is on the agenda for later this summer.

"I am also going to camp at Auburn. Those are the only two visits I have planned right now," said Mossakowski.

When asked if about his current favorites, Mossakowski responded, "I don't really have any yet. I want to take these visits before I decide to do anything."

The Tigers already have a commitment from five-star Craig Loston from Texas. Have the two Texas standouts communicated?

"No, I haven't talked with Craig yet," said Mossakowski.

There is also no clear commitment timing for the prize recruit.

"It will be sooner rather than later. I don't really have a timeframe. I will just do it when I feel like I have found the right school," said Mossakowski.

As a junior, Mossakowski completed 264-of-462 passes (57 percent) for 19 touchdowns and also gained 227 yards on 71 rushes for seven additional scores.

Clemson is expected to sign one quarterback in the 2009 recruiting class.
