CUTigers.com publisher Roy Philpott announced today Dan Scott will join the web site as a regular contributor, providing weekly commentary and reports on Clemson sports.
"Dan is well respected throughout the Clemson community and has great insight into everything going on with Clemson athletics," Philpott said. "We are excited about having him at CUTigers and his addition to our staff gives the average fan another reason to stop by our web site every single day."
Dan is currently the host of the long-running sports talk show "Cruise Control" from 9 AM to 12 PM Mondays through Fridays on the flagship station for Clemson sports, 104.9 FM The Drive.
He has also covered Clemson sports for numerous publications during the last 10 years, including the Seneca Daily Journal (editor) and the Atlanta Journal Constitution (contributor). In addition, he also handles play-by-play duties for Clemson baseball and Lady Tiger basketball, as well as high schools sports in upstate South Carolina as well.
CUTigers.com is one of the largest team-specific web sites on the Internet and is part of the Scout.com network, which is owned by FoxSports.com. CUTigers also produces the largest monthly publication in existence exclusively devoted to Clemson sports.
