Four-star tight end Logan Thomas has selected his top seven schools as he prepares for his senior season.

"I have narrowed it down to seven schools. My top several are Virginia, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Wake Forest, North Carolina, West Virginia and Tennessee. I really don't know where I will go from there," said Thomas.

Are there any teams that will definitely get an official visit?

"Not yet. I haven't decided who will get those yet," replied Thomas. "Right now I am not sure when I will narrow things down further."

Which teams are recruiting the prize recruit the hardest right now?

"Virginia Tech and Virginia are definitely," replied Thomas.

The commitment timing is not clear for the Brookville High (Va.) standout.

"I am not even sure. It could be at the beginning of the season or it could be in February. Whenever I get that right feeling I will make my commitment," said Thomas.

What will be the most important factors when Logan selects his college destination?

"I am just going to see where I feel the most comfortable. I want to see where I belong," replied Thomas.

The Virginia standout recently returned from a combine in Orlando where he competed against some of the nation's top players.

"I went to Orlando to compete with some of the top players. It was real fun. I got to meet a lot of great players," he added.

Thomas played quarterback as a junior and earned first-team All-District and All-Region honors, throwing for 1150 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also rushed for 600 yards and eight touchdowns.

As a sophomore, he caught 54 passes for over 900 yards and eight touchdowns.
