Although the star defender has never been to Clemson, the Tigers have made a hard push in recent weeks.

"Clemson has been after me hard, but I can't say they are my out right favorite at this point in the process," replied Johnson. "But I like them."

What will be important to the Florida standout when he selects his college destination?

"Education is the key. I want to connect with the coaches. Last I will look at the location and what is best for me," replied Johnson.

Don't expect a decision until after his senior campaign is complete.

"It will be sometime after my season and before signing day," said Johnson. "I'm not in any kind of hurry to make a decision at this point."

Which teams are recruiting the Palmetto High standout the hardest right now?

"Everyone in my top five are showing me lots of love right now," replied Johnson.

Johnson finished his junior season with with 114 tackles and 19 sacks. He currently holds offers from Wake Forest, South Florida, Central Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Michigan State, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Auburn.
