McElrathbey Graduates from Clemson

Ray Ray McElrathbey will receive his under graduate degree in sociology from Clemson on Saturday, August 9 at 11:00 AM at Littlejohn Coliseum.

He entered Clemson in August of 2005 and red-shirted the season. He received national acclaim during the 2006 season when he played football for the Tigers and took over the parental responsibilities of his younger brother Fahmarr, who was just 11 years old at the time.

Fahmarr received financial support through a fund established by a waiver granted by the NCAA. The McElrathbey family will be available on the concourse area on the south side of Littlejohn Coliseum at the conclusion of the graduation ceremony on Saturday.

"I want to personally thank everyone who made this day possible," said McElrathbey. "We received so much support from the Clemson community over the last three years and I hope they will come by this area after graduation so I can thank them."

McElrathbey will continue his education and his football career this fall at Howard University in Washington, DC. Top Stories
