Whiteside Thinking Orange?

Noah Whiteside is one of the top receivers in the south this season at Greenville High School, and while his prep career came to an end against Union on Friday night, Whiteside has a long future ahead of him. Could it include running down the hill next season? The answer just might surprise you.

"I went to the Clemson / South Carolina game this weekend," said Whiteside. "We got a tour of the locker room and everything before the game. I had a good time. South Carolina was my leader, but things are pretty even with everyone now," said Whiteside.

"Everyone had been telling me that Clemson was loaded at receivers, but I talked with the coaches at Clemson, and they told me that there would be competition everywhere, and that I would have a good shot to play early here if I worked hard," added the state's top wide receiver.

"I have visits set up with Maryland (1-10) and Clemson (1-17), and I am going to set up visits with South Carolina and Pittsburgh. They're all pretty even right now."

Whiteside is a member of the BorderWars 101 Team, and a 4 star prospect by TheInsidersRecruiting.com. He led the Palmetto state in receiving this year by bringing in a mind boggling 86 receptions for 1,770 yards and 20 touchdowns.

He combines excellent size and strength with good route running and excellent hands. He is quick off the line in beating press coverage, and he is absolutely lethal in the open field. Check out the latest video highlights from this impressive senior by clicking the link below:
