Young Schedules Official Visits

Eric Young, considered by most experts to be the top ranked offensive lineman in the country this year, has now set all of his official visits. Young, who received an in-home visit last night from Coach Rick Stockstill, will be in Clemson the weekend of January 24th.

Even though Eric Young is in the midst of an impressive playoff run with the Union Yellow Jackets, his recruitment still dominates the talk in college football circles these days.

The senior offensive lineman made some more noise today when he announced the schools and dates of his official visits. He will visit the North Carolina Tar Heels on January 10th, South Carolina on January 17th, Clemson on January 24th, and Tennessee on January 31st.

Young was visited by several coaches of the South Carolina coaching staff last night to go along with a visit from Clemson wide receivers coach Rick Stockstill.

He is also scheduled to see North Carolina head coach John Bunting this evening.

While Young is being recruited by schools from all over the country, his preference is to stay in-state. Make no mistake about it, this one will go to the wire between the Gamecocks and Tigers. Top Stories
