Kilgore Eyeing the Tigers

At 6-2 and 200 pounds with sub 4.5 speed, Demetrius Kilgore played defensive end this season, but his natural position is linebacker. The senior out of Rockdale County High School would certainly make a nice addition to the 2003 class at Clemson University.

He has the speed and quickness to play inside or outside on the next level. His Nike camp time of 4.50 in the forty was one of the best of the day, as was his 34 inch vertical leap. He is a spectacular athlete that hasn't receiver any offers yet, but he has the ability to be a player on the next level.

"Yeah, I finished with about 10 sacks on the year," said Kilgore. "I really like playing linebacker better, but the coaches needed me at defensive end this season. I've set up one visit for Middle Tennessee State this month, but I don't remember the exact date. I'd really like for Georgia to start recruiting me harder; I like them a lot. Clemson and Auburn are two other schools that I would like to visit."

Teams looking for a speedy playmaker would do themselves a service by giving Mr. Kilgore a call. Top Stories
