Raper Now Looking Around

Whenver there is a change at the top, there are bound to be a few consequences. Clemson lost a verbal commitment this evening ... CUTigers.com has the latest in this recruiting report.

WR Larry Raper Profile

Larry Raper is no longer committed to Clemson University.

"I am going to decommit from Clemson. I want to look at some other schools," Raper told CUTigers.com Wednesday evening.

Just a day earlier the speedster told CUTigers.com that he was firm with his commitment to the Tigers. What changed in the last 24 hours?

"I just sat down and thought about it and talked to my dad," Raper said. "We just thought we should look at some other schools. I really like Clemson but I want to see what else is out there."

Although other teams will now get a look from the North Carolina standout, the Tigers will still have a shot.

"Clemson still has a good shot. They are still pretty high. I just want to look around some now with the changes," said Raper.

Raper is currently the No. 56 wide receiver prospect in the country according to Scout.com.

He is the third prospect to decommit from the Tigers since it was announced on Monday head coach Tommy Bowden was stepping down.

Clemson also lost a pair of safeties in Devonte Holloman and Craig Loston, the No. 2 and No. 1 safeties in the nation.

Holloman, like Raper, however is still considering the Tigers.
