Capote Sets 5 Official Visits

In an interview late last week, Miami's Chris Capote indicated his top five schools, but just this past weekend, the senior offensive lineman has now set all five of his official visits. Capote spoke with late Saturday to clear up his situation.

We recently ran a report on OL Chris Capote, an underrated offensive lineman out of Killian High School in Miami, Florida. Late Saturday, learned that Capote has now set all five of his official visits.

"Coach West has been in contact with me since the spring," said Capote. "He became interested when he saw me at a combine here in South Florida. He's a real nice guy who seems to have a tremendous desire to develop the best O-Line in the country."

"I now have official visits set up with Clemson, Boston, Rutgers, Colorado State, Louisville," said Capote. "I don't have a favorite yet. I feel like I need to see the schools on my visit and meet with the coaches at home."

Capote went on to indicate his preferred position on the gridiron, "My preferred position is left tackle but, I also play right tackle and guard."

Capote is set with an official visit to Clemson the weekend of January 10th. "It's a real honor to have interest from a football powerhouse and major university like Clemson. I'm really looking forward to my visit that weekend," the senior offensive lineman added.

Chris attended some of the top football camps in Florida for offensive linemen this past summer. "I liked that they taught a lot about technique and footwork at the Down-N-Dirty it camp- even though it was tough. The coaches taught a lot, we received a lot of repetitions and it was very fun."

We will continue to keep you updated on Chris Capote right up through signing day in February. Top Stories
