Moore talked about the schools and why January 22 is an important day.

"I have scheduled four visits," he said in a recent interview with Scout.com. "I am going to Florida December 12, Clemson January 9, Miami January 16 and Alabama January 23. I am probably just going to visit those four schools.

"I would really like to commit January 22. I have already visited Alabama. If I feel good about one of those four schools by then I will make my decision. If not, I will take my visit to Alabama and push the date back."

Moore talked about the reasons for choosing the two SEC and ACC schools and the significance of January 22.

"All of those schools have kept in the most contact with me," said Moore. "I feel comfortable. None are really far from home. All have pretty good records. All are going to play freshmen. They all have good graduation rates."

"The date is my girlfriend's birthday, but it's just a coincidence. I know National Signing Day is the first week of February. I would like to get my decision over with. I plan to have a press conference."

The four-star prospect plans to travel to the Auburn-Georgia game and Alabama-Auburn game. Moore stayed home Saturday watching the SEC West showdown between the Tide and Tigers.

"I watched the Alabama-LSU game," he stated. "It was a real good game. They played down to the wire. Alabama's offense and defense did pretty good. Julio made some good catches. I saw him go up against Patrick Peterson. Both of them play good for freshmen. Both teams are going to have a good future."

Moore missed the final game of the regular season and first round of the playoffs due to a bruised heel and swollen ankle, but Carver dominated those two opponents and remained undefeated.

They will rely on Moore this week as he returns to action Friday at home against Briarwood Christian.
