"There wasn't a game this season where we went in thinking we couldn't win. THe turning point in the season was actually when we lost to Texas Tech. We had some inexperience in some different areas. But when we walked off that field I don't think there was a player in the locker room who didn't think we were better than the team that beat us.
"There were bumps along the way but nobody everybody pointed fingers. It was the the leadership of the the guys on this team. Not me. Not our staff. Our players. I told them a long time ago they had a bigger job than perhaps anybody else in the history of Nebraska. They had to fight through a lot of tough times along the way. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for these kids here."
