Visit Helps Tigers' Chances with Kelly

One of the most sought after wide outs in the country visited Clemson this weekend for his next to last official visit of the recruiting process.

Four-star wide receiver Kendall Kelly (Gadsden City, Ala.) was one of three official visitors on campus at Clemson this weekend.

CUTigers caught up with the talented wide out shortly after he headed back home:

Kendall can you talk about your official visit and what you did during your time on campus?
Kelly: It went well. I liked everything. It was a different feeling. Not like the rest of them. Just something about that place up there at Clemson.

Who came with you on your trip?
Kelly: Me and my parents made the trip.

What were some of the highlights?
Kelly: I would say yesterday when coach Swinney talked to everyone and told us his life story. It made it easier to relate to him.

How would you rate the visit on a scale of one to 10?
Kelly: I would say a 10.

How did you get along with your player host?
Kelly: Xavier [Dye]. We got along real well.

How did your conversations go with the coaching staff?
Kelly: They went really well. I talked to different coaches. I told their DB's they better watch out.

Did you hear about any verbal commitments this weekend?
Kelly: I didn't hear of any, no sir.

Did you commit during the visit?
Kelly: No.

When do you plan to make your decision?
Kelly: I'm not sure. It will be after LSU visit.

Did the visit help Clemson's chances of signing you?
Kelly: Yes. It definitely did.

Kelly is currently ranked as the nation's No. 25 wide receiver according to Scout.com.
