Clemson verbal commitment Quandon Christian (Lake View, S.C.) took his final official visit of the recruiting process this weekend when he made the quick trip to Raleigh, N.C. to check on N.C. State.

CUTigers caught up with him afterwards to get the latest:

Can you talk about your official visit and what you did during your time on campus?
Christian: It went pretty good. I liked the facilities and the players.

Who came with you on your trip?
Christian: It was me and my mom.

What were some of the highlights?
Christian: Basically hanging out with the players and getting their point of views on the coaching staff. And also the city of Raleigh. It was nice.

How would you rate the visit on a scale of one to 10?
Christian: I'd probably give it an eight.

How did your conversations go with the coaching staff?
Christian: Overall they went pretty good. They told me they are in need of a linebacker. The position they want me for has just graduated.

How firm are you with Clemson right now?
Christian: I am still solid to Clemson.

Any chance you will change your mind?
Christian: Maybe. I will know for sure on signing day.

He recently moved up more than 10 spots in the latest recruiting rankings update posted late last week after a strong performance in the Offense/Defense All-Star game.

Christian will take no other official visits as part of the recruiting process and will welcome Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney for an in-home visit later this coming week.

In addition, N.C. State head coach Tom O'Brien and assistant Jim Bridges will make their in home visit with Christian Tuesday.
