Final Decision in for Schofield

After his final official visit to Tennessee, Shrine Bowl standout JerQuari Schofield has reached his final decision. Will it be the Tigers or the Vols?

Palmetto state standout JerQuari Schofield, one of the top offensive linemen in South Carolina for the class of 2009, has been a long time verbal commitment to Tennessee, and this weekend he took his official visit to Knoxville.

"I've pretty much sewn up my recruiting decision. I've decided on Tennessee," he told CUTigers Sunday afternoon after taking his official visit to Knoxville.

Schofield, who had been down to Clemson and the Vols after taking his official visit to Tigertown earlier this month said a number of things let to his decision.

"I like their academic support system," he said. "I like the practice and training will be on an NFL level. The atmosphere is great and the people are. It is amazing, not to mention the winning history behind Tennessee."

When asked if this was his final decision, he responded, "Yes, it is final decision. My recruiting is over."

Clemson, which will sign the top two offensive linemen in its 2009 recruiting class in South Carolina in J.K. Jay and Brandon Thomas, currently has 12 verbal commitments.
