Four-star offensive lineman JaWuan James will take an unofficial visit to Clemson later this month.
"I am actually going to Clemson on the 28th," he told CUTigers in a recent interview. "I want to meet the offensive line coach. I am pretty sure I am going to like it a lot there."
This week has seen James take nothing short of a whirlwind visit tour around the south.
"I actually went to Georgia for junior day. I am going to Georgia Tech on Thursday. Then I am going back to Georgia on Friday. This weekend I am going to Alabama," said James.
The offer list is also growing by the week for the top lineman.
"I have 13 offers now. Yesterday Miami offered. Saturday I got offers from Oklahoma and Michigan State," he said.
What will be important when the Georgia native selects his college destination?
"I am looking for a school where the coaches are great," he said. "I want coaches that are great people as well as great coaches. I will be there for four years so I want to find a place where I get along with everyone.
"If I could play early that would be great. If there is a situation where there is a freshman that is starting and he will be in front of me until he finishes, that won't be what I am looking for."
Don't expect an early decision from the prize recruit.
"I want to take my official visits first. It will be later this year," said James.
Clemson recruiting coordinator/quarterbacks coach Billy Napier is recruiting the North Gwinnett (Ga.) standout for the Tigers.
"He is a real cool guy. He is real outgoing. He is a nice guy. I like what type of guy he is," said James.
James, who has already been designated a four-star prospect by Scout.com, also comes in as the No. 5 prospect in the state of Georgia according to Scout.com's Chad Simmons.
