O.P Walker High School
New Orleans, Louisiana

Dominic Cooper put together another impressive season this year for O.P. Walker High School in New Orleans. The senior defensive end registered 70 tackles to go along with 15 sacks in helping lead his team to the state championship game.

Cooper, using his 4.6 speed and 6-4, 220 pound frame from his defensive end position, also added 5 sacks in the first two rounds of the Louisiana State playoffs.

On the recruiting scene, Cooper has already set all of his official visits, including one to Clemson in early January.

Already he has been on one of his official visits to Colorado (12/20), while the other four are set with the Tigers (1/10), LSU (1/17), West Virginia (1/24) and Tennessee (1/31). Interestingly enough, his high school teammate Travis Berry committed to the Buffaloes a few months ago and he now serves as one of their biggest recruiters for Cooper.

"Colorado was real nice," Cooper told Tiger Rag. "I liked a lot of things about it. I know a lot of guys that are from this area and I know some of the coaches are cool. They have some nice facilities up there."

Cooper is just one of several defensive ends from all over the country being recruited by the Tigers, and we will continue to keep you updated on his all of his official visits, right up through signing day 2003. Top Stories
