Allen Waiting for Clemson Offer

Westlake wide receiver Brandon Allen had a dominating senior season, bringing in 57 catches for 1,418 yards and 17 touchdowns. "I like to go up and get the long ball," said Allen in a recent interview. The only question that remains is, will he be doing it for the Tigers next year?

"Well, this weekend I'm obviously going to Clemson," said Allen. "And then I'm going to Troy State on the 17th and to North Carolina on the 24th. The only two scholarship offers I have right now are from Troy State and Middle Tennessee."

For Allen, even though the Tigers have yet to offer, they are still the team to beat.

"Yeah, if they offer me, I'm likely going to go ahead and commit right then," said Allen. "I went to the Wake Forest game and I really like it a lot up there, but it all depends on if they offer me or not."

Allen's dad, who is also his head coach, had the following to say about his son's recruitment.

"I think right now we still like North Carolina, we like Clemson, and we like Troy State. Those are the schools that are on the table for him right now. Clemson is the front runner though. I imagine we'll know something this weekend." said Mr. Allen.
