Mix Up with Top Cover Corner?

Georgia CB/QB/WR Robert Reese was supposed to be in Clemson this weekend for an official visit. What happened along the way that may have made him change his mind? The answer just might surprise you.

Robert Reese, an underrated cornerback prospect out of Temple High School in Temple, Georgia, was all ready to come to Clemson this weekend, and then BAM!

What happened?

"I don't know," said Reese. "I called coach Hines today and was getting everything ready to go up there and then he said they didn't have me down this weekend."

"I was shocked you know," added Reese. "I was talking to Coach West for a long time before Coach Hines got involved and I just couldn't believe it. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to visit now."

Reese, who is being recruited hard by both Auburn and Clemson as a cornerback, is already set with visits to Troy State and to Auburn the weekends following January 10th.

"Yeah I'm supposed to go to Troy State next weekend, and then to Auburn the weekend after that, and then that's pretty much February, so I don't know if I'll make it to Clemson or not now," added Reese.

Reese is a multi-dimensional athlete that has stayed under the radar until recently. This year he rushed for 1,126 yards, passed for 633, and scored 20 touchdowns.

While Reese is understandably upset, there appears to be some sort of mix up with the official visit dates. As a result, he is undecided about taking a trip to Clemson if a date becomes available.

"I just don't understand what happened, we'll just have to wait and see. Coach Hines said they had me down for the 24th or something, but I know they had me down for the 10th, I confirmed that with my coach, I know it" said Reese.
