Pilgrim Enjoys Clemson Visit

Brandon Pilgrim was hosted by Roman Fry this past weekend in Clemson for his official visit and just like all the other recruits in Tiger Town, he too had a helluva time. Details on Pilgrim's visit are contained in this report.

Brandon Pilgrim will be running down the hill next season, there's no doubt about it now.

"That was my last official visit," said Pilgrim. "I'm done, Clemson is where I want to go. This weekend was great, I had a great time with Roman Fry, he's really down to earth, and he told me that if I work hard, I'll have the chance to crack the two-deep next year, and even possibly start."

Offensive line coach Ron West seems to echo those sentiments.

"Coach West told me it doesn't matter how old you are or what class you are in, if you can perform, you are going on the field, it's as simple as that," added Pilgrim.

And what about teammate David Overmyer, has any progress been made there?

"Oh yeah, progress has been made, but he's still going to take his official visits. I couldn't tell you what he's going to do right now, but I know that he had a great time this weekend," said Pilgrim.

What about any other commitments this weekend? Did Pilgrim catch wind of any rumors?

"Well Capote committed this morning, I know that, and they told me they are pretty much done at guard and center on the offensive line, they are looking for tackles now. Coach West said that they would be looking sign to 5 on the line, maybe 6," added Pilgrim.

We will continue to keep you updated on Brandon Pilgrim, right up through signing day.
