Callender Talks About Clemson Visit

Andre Callender is just one of several recruits looking at Clemson these days, and had the chance to catch up with Sunday afternoon to see how his official visit went to Clemson. Coach Lovett is Callender's main recruiter, and the staff likes him as a running back in the 2003 class.

Andre Callender, an underrated running back out of New Jersey, made it down to Clemson this weekend for his official visit, and he came away very impressed.

"It was a great, I got to learn a lot about the school, and Chansi Stuckey was my host, so everything went real well you could say," said Callender.

The Garden State star has already tripped to Wake Forest, and he will also take trip to Michigan State and Boston College in the coming weeks.

"Wake Forest and Clemson were very similar, both have good academics and everything. I want to major in computer science in college, and that looks good at both schools. I've still got two more visits though, so I'm going to wait until after those to make a decision," added Callender.

"I got to talk to Coach Lovett, and Coach Burns, and also Coach Bowden a little bit. Clemson wants me as a running back, as do the other schools recruiting me," said Callender.
