Henderson Commits to Clemson!

Florida's Mario Henderson wasn't able to make to Clemson last weekend due to his commitment to basketball, but that didn't stop him from making a verbal commitment today to the Tigers. Henderson becomes the 5th offensive lineman to verbally commit to Clemson.

"He didn't make up there last weekend, but he's already rescheduled to go up there this weekend," said a member of the Henderson household early Monday evening.

"He's got Clemson this weekend, and then N.C. State the weekend after that."

Henderson, who is being recruited as an offensive tackle to Clemson, still has some work to get done in the classroom before he becomes a full qualifer.

Brad Scott has remained Henderson's main contact throughout the recruiting process, and senior lineman has also spoken with Ron West as well.

Just moments after calling the Henderson household, it was learned that Mario has in fact committed to Clemson.

"I committed to Coach Scott earlier today," said Henderson. "He came by my school and I went ahead and did it. I don't think I will get my score until after signing day though, so I may have to wait a couple of days to officially sign."

We'll continue to keep you updated on Mario Henderson's recruitment, right up through signing day.
