A strong June for the Clemson coaching staff just got a little stronger.
After landing the verbal commitments of three prospects earlier in the month during head coach Dabo Swinney's first annual football camp, Sunday afternoon saw the staff pick up another big commitment.
Reid Webster, the No. 65 offensive tackle prospect in the nation according to Scout.com out of Woodstock, Ga. (Etowah), has indeed committed to Clemson University.
"I talked to my parents the whole week about it and we decided it was the right place to be," Webster told CUTigers.com. "They have got a really good business school. That was big. Clemson is also really close so my dad can come to all the home games."
Webster also said his trip to Coach Swinney's camp earlier in the month set the tone for the commitment.
After arriving early in the week without a Clemson offer, he picked one up less than four days later after turning in several strong showings in one-on-one drills practicing mostly as an offensive tackle.

Webster, who is being recruited to Clemson by offensive coordinator Billy Napier, said he told the coaching staff about his decision Sunday afternoon.
"Basically I called Coach Napier to tell him I was ready to commit," he said. "He was excited. He then gave me Coach Swinney's number and told me to call him so I tried Coach Swinney but he wasn't there.
"I'm getting ready to call him again right now though."
Webster, who claimed over a dozen scholarship offers prior to his commitment including full rides from Florida State, Miami, Wake Forest and others, also said he's firm in his decision with the Tigers.
"I am," he said. "Once I make my decision I'm going to be sticking to it. I don't see it changing."
The addition of Webster gives the Tigers seven verbal commitments overall for their 2010 recruiting class. He is also Clemson's first offensive lineman for next year's group.
Earlier this month the Tigers added commitments of 2010 defensive back Bashaud Breeland (Allendale-Fairfax HS), as well as 2011 standout running back Marlin Lane (Daytona Beach, Fla.) and 2011 defensive tackle DeShaun Williams (Daniel HS).
Clemson is expected to sign 20-22 prospects by National Signing Day next February.
