Henderson Withdraws Commitment?

Mario Henderson committed to Clemson earlier this week, or did he? According to Mario earlier this evening, he in fact did not commit to Clemson University. "What I meant to say is that I'm going to commit to Clemson, not that I am commited," said Henderson.

Mario Henderson committed to Clemson University on Monday, or did he? "No I really didn't commit, I was just saying that I was close to committing," said Henderson.

Henderson, who was orginally scheduled to visit Clemson officially this past weekend, pushed back his visit to the 17th and met with Brad Scott on Monday.

"Coach Scott was telling me about the offensive line situation that I could come in and be one of their top linemen if I just worked hard. And then he said that I've got my grades ready and that I can qualify," said Henderson.

"He said that if I do qualify that they will be holding a scholarship for me. Most likely, I don't think I'll be able to signing day. I have to wait until after I graduate to get my final grades and then match those up with my SAT scores when my GPA will be a little higher," added Henderson.

"I switched schools because they allow me to individual work, which was something that Lehigh wouldn't allow me to do. That should help me get my GPA up which should help me get qualified."

Henderson, who still favors Clemson, will visit Tiger Town this weekend, and then go to N.C. State soon after that.

"I get out about 12, and then I'm flying up there on Saturday, and I'll stay in Clemson on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday," added Henderson.
