And so it begins...

SUNSET, S.C. - Dabo Swinney met with the electronic media Tuesday before the start of his first golf tournament as Clemson's head coach.

Here are the first audio files for the upcoming season as Swinney answers a round of questions from reporters:

"I probably can't explain it [how excited he is for the start of the season]. It's kind of hard to explain something you've waited your whole life for and then all of a sudden you are given that opportunity. I came off vacation and they had moved my boxes over [to the West Zone]. I was driving to work, and I almost turned into the McFadden lot. It was like I was getting ready to start school. I was so excited to drive up because it had been two weeks. To be able to pull up to Death Valley to go to work is unbelievable. It's unbelievable. I told the team last week not only to we play in Death Valley, we live in Death Valley. We have to take a lot of pride in that."

"I'd say that's over. I don't expect any type of honeymoon period or anything like that [with the fans]. I'm just focused on this team and doing what it takes to win football games. Things that I believe in and getting these kids to believe in - that's really what my focus is. The bottom line is we've got to find a way to win football games. The fun is in the winning."
