Gaddis Comments on Athens

C.J. Gaddis is one of the top athletes in the state of North Carolina. He is a verbal commitment to Clemson that made no secret of his desire to take other trips. He also made it no secret that it would take quite a turnaround to get him to switch his commitment from Clemson.

Gaddis visited Georgia this weekend, and I caught up with him this afternoon.

"My trip to Georgia was a lot of fun," said Gaddis. "Tyson Browning and Bryan McClendon were my player hosts. Georgia said they wanted me to come in and play free safety if they were to get me. I had a lot of fun, and Georgia is a great place and all, but I'm still solid with Clemson. I don't have any in home visits set up yet for this week, but I'm sure Coach [Tommy] Bowden is going to want to come by this week."

Gaddis can play any number of positions from running back, corner, wide receiver, safety to quarterback. He is going to get his first shot at quarterback this summer at Clemson. He is a member of the BorderWars.com 101 Team as an "Athlete"
