Reese Talks About "The Visit"

Robert Reese, a standout corner prospect from Temple, Georgia, appears to be the next in line to make his verbal commitment to Clemson. University Reese spoke with about his visit to Tiger Town this past weekend and his expected visit from Tommy Bowden tomorrow afternoon in this report.

"It was great, Coach Bowden really left a good impression on me, he was cracking jokes and stuff a lot, and that was cool," said Reese.

"My host for the weekend was Jamaal Fudge. I spent a lot of time with him and Justin Miller. It was cool, we just kind of chilled and went to the basketball game," added Reese.

The multi-dimensional athlete hinted at the possiblity of also running track at Clemson.

"Yeah, they said that was definitely possible, so I may do that. They talked about returning kicks and punts, so that's in the mix as well."

"It's pretty much a done deal," added Reese. "Coach Bowden is coming to my school tomorrow and I plan on committing to Clemson then. Auburn and Troy State also offered me at cornerback, but like I said it's a done deal."

Auburn and Troy State were both recruiting Reese at cornerback, but the Georgia native indicated time and time again in our interview that Clemson seemingly had more to offer than the other two schools in pursuit.

Reese will be the second true cornerback to verbally commit to the Tigers, and he also indicated that there may be a chance that he could play early in his college career.

"Justin and Jamaal talked about me playing early, so if the opportunity is there, then obviously I'm going take it. I'm just ready to get up there. I know it's going to be a big change, but I'm looking forward to it," added Reese.
