Reese Commits to Clemson!

Robert Reese, an underrated defensive back out of Temple, Georgia, gave his verbal commitment to head coach Tommy Bowden this afternoon. Reese will see time at cornerback at Clemson, and he'll also be given the opportunity to return kickoffs and punts.

Robert Reese has committed to play football for Clemson University.

"I just committed to Clemson," said Reese. "Coach Bowden and Coach Lovett came down and I had dinner with them and I verbally committed as planned, it's a done deal."

"Everything went real well, I'm going to Clemson, you can publish that. We just talked about me playing up there and my scholarship, it was real cool," added Reese. Reese just returned from his official visit to Clemson this weekend.

Reese is a multi-dimensional athlete that has stayed under the radar until recently. This year he rushed for 1,126 yards, passed for 633, and scored 20 touchdowns.

"My host for the weekend was Jamaal Fudge. I spent a lot of time with him and Justin Miller. It was cool, we just kind of chilled and went to the basketball game," added Reese.

"Justin and Jamaal talked about me playing early, so if the opportunity is there, then obviously I'm going take it. I'm just ready to get up there. I know it's going to be a big change, but I'm looking forward to it," added Reese.
