Big Tackle Headed to Tallahassee

Big Mario Henderson has made a final decision on his college destination, and he's going to be staying close to home. At 6-7 and 325 pounds, Henderson has the size to be an early contributor, and his work at basketball is improving his quickness.

"I committed to Florida State today," said Henderson. "Coach Bobby Bowden came by the house. My grandmother wasn't home, so he met me and her at school. I felt like it was important to play for the in-state school. I really liked Clemson, but I didn't know about the travel. I want my grandma to be able to come and watch me play."

Henderson is one of the biggest offensive tackle prospects in the country, and with the proper strength and agility work, he could turn out to be one of the best as well.

You may remember Henderson committing to Clemson just over a week ago, before pulling back on that commitment after a "misunderstanding."

The Noles got a good one, and Big Mario will now have the opportunity to play in front of his family.
