Young Commits to the Vols

Eric Young has just announced that he'll play football at Tennessee next season. Young made the announcement at a press conference just moments ago at Union High School. He becomes the third player from South Carolina to sign with the Volunteers today.

"That was where my heart said to go," said Young after signing his LOI. "It was one of the most important decisions I've made in my life. When I went up there I just fell in love with the place and that's where I'm going."

Young said he arrived at his decision late last night after an emotional meeting with his head coach, Mike Anthony.

The southeast's top lineman made the announcement by arriving at the press conference to the tune of "Rocky Top." Two other Union football players, Curtis Rice and David Smith, both signed with the Gamecocks. Top Stories
