Clemson/S.C. kickoff announced

The South Carolina-Clemson football game on Nov. 28 at Williams-Brice Stadium will kick off at noon.

In addition, the game will be broadcast on ESPN, the SEC announced Monday.

Clemson has only lost once in Williams-Brice Stadium since 1987- a 20-15 setback in 2001.

The Tigers play Virginia this weekend at 3:30 on ABC. If Clemson wins it will be crowned Atlantic Division champions in the ACC for the first time in school history.

Clemson would then play Georgia Tech for the ACC championship the weekend after the South Carolina game in Tampa, Fla.

SPILLER NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK: C.J. Spillerearned his second straight Offensive Back of the Week honor and fourth overall weekly accolade this season, the ACC announced Monday.

Spiller had a hand in a Tiger touchdown in three different fashions in a 43-23 win at NC State. Spiller threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to teammate Xavier Dye in the second quarter that gave Clemson a 16-point lead.

He then scored on a 16-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from freshman quarterback Kyle Parker in the fourth quarter to become the first player in school history to rush for a touchdown, catch a touchdown pass, and throw a touchdown pass in the same game against a Football Bowl Subdivision team. Spiller piled on 158 all-purpose yards in the game, with 97 rushing yards, 48 receiving yards, and 13 kickoff return yards. Top Stories
