The Atlantic Division Champion Clemson Tigers placed three players on the All-ACC first-team.
Led by multi-threat star C.J. Spiller - who made the first-team as a specialist and the second team as a running back, Spiller averaged 76 yards rushing, led the league with an average of 183.9 all-purpose yards and returned four kickoffs for touchdowns. Joining him is Michael Palmer at tight end and safety DeAndre McDaniel.
Palmer is Clemson's second leading receiver with 38 receptions and third with 439 yards receiving. He and Spiller are tied for second in receiving touchdowns with four.
McDaniel is fourth on the Tigers with 70 tackles. He's made three stops for loss and picked up two sacks. His eight interceptions ties a single-season school record. He returned one of those interceptions for touchdown against Miami.
Five Tigers were named to the second-team, including two from the offensive line: left tackle Chris Hairston and left guard Thomas Austin.
Wide receiver Jacoby Ford, who was a pre-season first-team selection, was named to the second-team. He leads the Tigers with 50 receptions for 703 yards and five touchdowns. Spiller was named to the second-team as a running back.
Also on the second-team is defensive end Ricky Sapp, who leads Clemson with five sacks.
